The Citation Patriot is a great rocket to fly, in stock form, but flies better on higher powered rocket motors. A simple rocket to up power to 24mm C,D,E and F motors, but it will need a few upgrades. 1st; Use epoxy for assembly. 2nd; Slot the BT-60 body tube, for through tube fin mounting. 3rd; Redraw fins on sheet balsa wood and extend the root edge, for through tube fins to the up powered BT-50 motor mount. 4th; Install a 24mm motor mount and use a 24mm Pro Series Engine Retainer, instead of the metal engine clip, for an easier installation and removal of 24mm motors. Install an engine block for longer 24mm motors up to 3 Grain motors. 5th; Upgrade recovery system by installing an ejection baffle, replace rubber shock cord with braided nylon, or Kevlar shock cord and 1 foot of bungie cord. Attach shock cord to centering ring, or ejection baffle. Replace plastic parachute with a nylon parachute. 6th; Add appropriate amount of nose weight for a stable C/G. 7th; while possibly topping 3,000 feet on an F motor, you might want to install a GPS tracker
