Medium level. I bought some cool rockets from 1:72 fighter jet and put them on the ship. Really cool idea.

I had to scour my foggy old mind for my high school French to build this ship. As with almost all Heller ships, the instructions are spotty, especially for rigging. The kit is well made, as far as fit and finish, even though the upper masts and yards are pretty flimsy. Brass rod added inside the hollow masts help immensely, and the yards are nicely formed, but be careful and you can create a beautiful 74-gun French frigate! Don't let the guns and gun carriages intimidate you, just take your time and you'll have it made. In my experience, all Heller ships are a little pricey, sometimes a little fiddly, but when finished are really beautiful. Rick

This is not a model for a beginner, you must make your own shrouds and ratlines, I had never done this before and gave me trouble. The rigging instructions are in French as is the rest of the kit. I think a person with the proper amount of skills could make this a great build. Even with the problems I had I still enjoyed the build and was fairly happy with the results.
