Not the best nostalgia build product available
I built this kit when it first came out from Aurora.
Now getting the Atlantis release, I found it a bit disappointing, inasmuch on their website they have testimony of it fitting right together (like it did when I built it back then).
Unlike most tank kits, the lower hull and sides are not one piece, which means you have to put four sides of a box together.
Even though their website review raves about how it goes right together (like my original Aurora kit did), nothing could be farther from the truth with the Atlantis release.
Both the tank's hull bottom and top are totally warped, where the front fenders curve up and the bottom is distinctly concave underneath, which will require special gluing, clamping (hoping the seams will not pop apart before the adhesive fully sets).
Honestly, for a 1/48 scale kit that is lacking much detail when compared to actual photos as well as (turret hand rails, simulated welded armor, etc.) as well as the price (you can get a Tamiya 1/35 scale for nearly the same price, with the details) and the warped main body coverings, it basically is a baby-boomer collector's shelf queen, better left in the box.
