These brushes do NOT look like they do in the picture; in the picture all the bristles are neatly aligned and form a perfect tip. In reality, the bristles are all over the place, and do not form a nice thin tip. I tried cutting them down, and this worked a little better, but still they really don't work well for detail. The larger broad brushes are little better; the bristles are so flimsy that they just kind of skim over the model; they're not stiff enough to really transfer paint effectively. These may work well for some other type of activity, but for fine-scale aircraft, armor, or figures, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. Disappointing brushes, just glad they were so cheap.

My Atlas brushes provide economical, quick, application of the Acrylic paints I use for my models. These brushes are not for fine detail such as the leather straps on the 1/35 military figures. But they work very well for the models. These are military vehicles in war time configurations. These AFV's are in use, a long way from the factory. A rough brush helps detail the usage of war time. I recommend these and would purchase more. John the W

This is the only disapointing product I have received from Hobbylinc. I have used camel hair brushes for different applications for many years with great success without problems. But this set are cheaply made with low grade hair which is badly cut to form the tip of the brush. Certainly these are not suitable for detail work, so I guess the old saying you get what you pay for is true in this case.

Grabbed these as a cheap starter set (new to modeling) and quickly ditched most of them in the trash. They don't hold their shape and you need to clean out loose bristles before you start painting, otherwise, you'll end up with bristles all over your piece. I've kept the 1/2 and 1/4 to use for applying clear coat, which works OK.

Overall, this seems to be a good set of brushes for the price. I’ve used the smallest one extensively with my first project and it’s holding up well. The 1/2” has excessive shedding and must be picked clean prior to use. The kit includes a 1 (mm?), 3, 5, 1/4” and 1/2” brush.

I needed to fill a couple of missing sizes, but was unable to find at local store. Took a chance on the online appearance of the brushes, and was delighted to find the bristles were better than expected. A little disappointed in the shafts. They could be a bit more substantial.

A good basic set. Though my preference would be a set of 5 #2's. Even #2's I cut about half the hairs off to paint fine details, wiring/pipes/etc. Camel hair is better than the plastic hair brushes that come packaged in paint sets. Keeps their form longer.

These brushes are slightly substandard. When I receive them the hair was stuck together and almost matted you could say. These brushes will be good for doing basic painting, however if you want to do more detailed painting these are not for you.

2 of the brushes fell apart upon 1st use. I used them for acrylic wash and pigments, they shed a bunch after preliminary washing, fell apart after clean up from use. The remaining 3 seem to be holding up.

The brushes have worked well so far. The only thing I’d say about these is that the small tip brushes can be flimsy. The larger brushes worked well though overall.

These brushes were excellent. Easy to use and easy to clean. And considering the price I'd say they're a steal for a beginner like me.

These are good brushes if you are just starting off, they are inexpensive but decent quality. You get 5 brushes of various sizes which is nice.

Very Poor quality and cut so bad that the hair war frayed and uneven. I would not recommend this product. Spend more and buy better quality.

Not the best with enamel paints but overall for the price its not bad.Make sure you keep brushes clean and trim of any loose bristles.

These are good quality brushes for model airplane detailing and building. They will make a good brush for decal application as well.

I was not happy with the Camel Hair paint brushes. The hairs are not soft and doesn't provide a nice smooth and even coat.

Very good with all the paints i use the hair does not fall out after use easy to clean up nice brushes for the cost.

Not what I was expecting but I guess what they cost they will do. Just seem cheap. I wouldn't buy anymore of them.

These are some of the best to use for model car kits. They hold there shape and clean up good. 5 stars for sure.

I can use these brushes with any type medium. You just need to keep using the same medium that you started with.

Good starter pack. Nice choice of brush sizes. You can build a nice set of brushes starting with these.

Excellent quality for the price. Much better than the cheap brushes at Michaels or Walmart

The first time I cleaned the smallest brush the bristles fell out. Ok for the price for 5.

was a beginer and orderd the 5-pc set and am very good now had alot to do with them
