Fantastic helicopter build.
Very impressed with this model, the parts fit together perfectly, no flashing, photo etched parts very well designed. Apparently, this model is very popular as I found many builds on YouTube. The detail in the plastic parts in the realism compared to the actual helicopter is very impressive. My only issue was they did not include a small weight required to balance the front of the helicopter during assembly which is no big deal because any small bolt would do but it would’ve been nice if they would’ve included it to make it 100% complete. The helicopter looks great Band you can move the guns, props, and build with Canopy open or closed
Excellent Kit
This kit is highly detailed and comes with a sheet of its own photo etched parts. Easy instructions and parts fit nicely without having to use putty. If I could find Academy’s CH-53 kit, my Marine Corps helicopter collection would be complete. This one is displayed in the Deputy Commandant of Aviation (USMC) at the Pentagon.
