Best Budget 1/48 F-16
By: Ace Cobra
It's not the best F-16 kit in the 1/48th scale, but it is perfect for those who are looking for a kit below $30 or $20. It has enough detail for panel lines, an large array of weapons, and the choice to create either an A or C variant. The downside is that there is hardly any detail in the cockpit or wheel wells, very basic weapon design, and a crappy decal sheet. If anyone purchases this kit, I advise they look for a decal sheet in stores or online to go with it.
Good model Kit
I thought this kit was a good candidate to build either a Polish or Israeli F-16 so I'll have to decide but all the parts seem to fit alright but It don't hurt to dry fit before you glue it together . I do like that it comes with a pilot figure other than that I have to say it's a decent F-16 model and not all too hard to build just take your time It should turn out nice once finished .
Not the Best
This kit was OK to build. No detail in the cockpit area. The landing gear is terrible to build (maybe it was the kit I bought) the struts were to short to connect to the wheel well inside the landing gear area. There were panel gaps connecting both halves of the plane. Wings were warped - 1 wing twisted up and the other wing twisted down. The decal sheet were terrible.

This kit is an old kit with 3 major issues:
Basic cockpit to the extreme
Major fit issues in the intakes
Weak wheel bay design is not very good, so be careful. This kit would be among the lower rankings, but it's still suitable.

Another great build from Academy
Perfectly detail to make a great build, and realistic result.
