Good Kit
The kit comes with a 12-page instructions booklet. Decals for 3 aircraft. I choose one of the VT-5 in red and white colors. The third is VT-1 in overall yellow. Construction went together easy, except for the landing lights in the leading edge of the wings. Good detail in the cockpit. Decals for the instrument panels, which laid down over the raised details nicely. A combination of recessed panel lines and raised rivets. The rest of the decals went down nice. I like how Academy's decals lay down in recessed panel lines. Masking tape included in the kit. Which makes painting all the canopy area easy. Parts are included for a 3 bladed propeller. But the model T-34C was the only version to use it. The A and B version only used the two bladed propeller. The canopy comes in 4 pieces, with only closed position option. You will need 15gr of weight in the nose. This is Not included. I failed to meet that weight. So, my kit ended up being a tail sitter. I dug thought my stash and found a clear part designed to fix the problem. The kit turned out looking pretty good. I would recommend for an experienced painter if you chose VT-5. Due to the difficult painting pattern. If you like the overall yellow with VT-1. You should be ok. I wish Academy or somebody would come out with the T-34C version. Keep on building and have fun.
