Another Bullseye from Academy
Totally enjoyable build! Photos to follow. The fit of parts were trouble-free. Finely-scribed panel lines and other surface details like access panels really set this kit apart from some of Academy's other offerings. Although the more Academy kits I build, the more impressed I become with the Academy 1/72 scale aircraft line. One note of caution: fit test the canopy. Both my canopy options required trimming of the back end of the rear gunner canopy section. Otherwise no complaints and it is a welcome addition to my WW2 Luftwaffe aircraft collection. This kit is a winner: good detail, fit of parts and clear instructions. I highly recommend this kit!

excellent kit with excellent detail for 1/72. everything fit perfectly especially the wing roots and the fuselage. NO GAPS !! I did however, learn a valuable lesson; Never spray a clear coat on a finished canopy. I used Krylon matte finish and it instantly fogged the canopy. this was after I had spent quite a bit of time painting the canopy. thank goodness the kit comes with two (1 open and 1 closed. it all turned out well as the open version fit perfectly. would gladly recommend this one to everyone.
