This isnt a bad little kit - but with all that glass in the nose I wish there was more to see! Speaking of, the 3 piece canopy is a bit tricky if you arent super careful so it would have been nice for a open or closed option. I built one right out of the box, with the addition of a different weapons load. It needs a lot of nose weight, but there's no real place to put it - I had put as much as I can right behind the cockpit and under it as well. The issue with this being that you can see right in behind the cockpit tub. This needed some plastic card to cover the opening. There was a bit of a tricky fit issue with the wings and center section - but nothing some care and patience could handle. Its a fun kit but not a shake and bake, so it would be a bit frustrating for a newcomer.

This is a very nice kit overall. The parts fit well with little filing and sanding. The parts are nicely detailed with great payload options. The one down side is the three part canopy. Looks nice and gives a clear view of cockpit details but is a bit hard to line up all 3 pieces. This takes a little time to figure out the best way for you so experiment before you use glue. In the end you have a very acceptable model of an OV-10 to enjoy!

Nice kit of the OV-10. Good fit overall, canopy takes some fiddling. I ended up making thin decal stripes for the canopy frames, since I've not had good luck recently with masking methods and I'm not steady enough to hand-paint them. A good addition to any Vietnam collection.

I thought this was a quite detailed model and I was pleased it came with the decals for the Marine Corps model which I parachuted from. My only beef was the canopy came in 4 parts instead of one piece which made it difficult for my old fat fingers to build it cleanly.

Fantastic model--really fun to build, and a very cool display piece. I chose to use a camouflage paint scheme, and I'm happy with how it turned out.

I enjoyed this kit but it was really simplistic. About the only challenging thing to it was the decals.
