A simple kit marred by fussy decals.
Scalemates shows this is the ancient Crown kit from the early ‘70s reboxed now by Academy. There are very few parts, but it builds up to a decent representation of the Marauder. There is utterly no interior, and just blank plastic for the wheel wells and engines. So it’s just a step up from a solid WW2 “identification model”. The most challenging part was the decals provided by Academy. I build the natural metal finish version which used the D-Day striping. The decals are very thin and constantly curled up on me. The wing and fuselage striping decals were huge and are supposed to wrap around the entire model in one go - impossible! Save yourself a lot of pain and cut them into manageable sections before putting them in water.
