Nice Detail

This is an Israeli modified US M60 tank that was used by the IDF in the 1990's. It has a very futuristic look to it and is loaded with tons of details and accessories. Academy did a good job in representing those details in this kit, the build its self was not overly complex and the instructions are pretty straight forward. I did not encounter any major fit issues during this build except for a few minor things here and there. This kit is a combination of older Academy M60 sprues with newer more detailed Magach sprues so you will end up with a lot of spare parts that you can use on other projects. I would have liked to see some photo etch parts and clear parts for the vision ports but I am still happy with the way it turned out. I would highly recommend this kit for Israeli Armour fans or any intermediate level builders.
Very nicely detaied lesser known IDF tank.
Academy did a very nice job with this IDF upgraded M60A1. Really nice surface detail, very sharp and crisp. There are a lot of small detail parts that might seem to slow down the build. I was disappointed with the decals, which wouldn't lay down that smooth, especially the white bands on the cannon. It's better to just paint these by hand. The rubber band tracks are nice, and are pretty close to what the 6B uses in the field. The instructions are ok, but you can miss small parts and where they go. The cover art can help in placement. I'm not sure if I will purchase the Magach 7B from Academy, but I am happy with the final product. Overall, a nice addition to anyone's IDF armor regiment.
Great academy magach kit !!!

This was a challenge. Comes with 2 variations. Basic M-60 with added Armour. Read directions dry fit peices first.directions can confuse at first. But it was a fun build

Well worth the price of admission. The fit was great, and so was the detail. Lots of extra goodies to enhance the tank.
WOW great tooling
great kit - many many parts and sprues. Recommend for experienced modelers
