An excellent kit to build
This kit may well be the best engineered and executed kit I have ever built in my 60 years of building models.Everything fit together precisely without you having to make things fit. There was very little plastic flashing on the parts, so you could paint and forget them until time to cement them in place. I don't know what the parts count is supposed to be on this kit, but it has to be well over 500 - there are 50 parts involved just in assembling the ten 5 gun turrets and each of the three 16 turrets are upwards of 20 parts apiece (so be prepared to do a LOT of building tiny sub-assemblies - thick cyanoacrylic glue is your friend for these assemblies). While the 1/400 scale sounds smaller than the more standard 1/350, this guy is plenty big: 27 long, 3.25 wide, and 6tall (not including the stand). You just can't go wrong with this kit, especially when you consider the price difference between it and any of the 1/350 scale kits out there.
