A Re-issued Delight
As I often research kits, this one is no different, Italeri was the original manufacturer making another big step in filling in the gaps of vehicles used in WWII known to modelers.
This kit went together with few fit issues as the parts aligned near perfectly. As I built it back in 2003 I don't recall too many problems. I added Academy Machine Guns from their set of the same to add realism to the kit. I incorporated the finished model into a Marine amphibious landing somewhere in the South Pacific during WWII, as far as realism, I added detailing to the overall model. I highly recommend this kit to any modeler who has experience with tracked vehicles, it's a real gem.
Amphibious Vehicle
I was not impressed by this model, I expected it to be more detailed. Instructions were very hard to follow and tread came in 2 pieces which were hard to connect so I just glued them together. Some key parts were warped and did not fit properly. Also they made you put together the engine which was then covered and not able to be viewed. Decals fell apart and their were no accessories or figures as indicated in the photo.
