Nice fitting kit with one exception
Very nice kit, lots of extra parts for a custom version. Has newly tooled front grille/bumper, back bumper, which fit great, and newly tooled engine block with manual transmission and dual snorkel air cleaner that look real nice. Kit almost fell together. The only problem I had is that the supplied tires, which are excellent with red line on one side and gold Firestone lettering on the other, were too large of inner diameter for the stock hubcaps. I ended up using the optional aluminum wheels with some parts box AMT tires. Mine turned out real nice.
Talk about nostalgia
Excellent subject matter that I missed out on the first time around, I know that this is a direct reissue, but can only give it 4 stars because of the molded in detail on the chassis... You can tell by cleanliness of the parts , especially the body that this hasn't been reissued over& over again...
