Reviews : AMT Big Rig Semi Trailer

This is a nice kit that builds into a perfect size box trailer. I built the 36' version that comes out to 17 inches, so it doesn't really take up a great deal of shelf space. Although the parts sprues aren't numbered the bottom of the box has a numbered diagram, however there is no way to identify the side panels. These panels will fit in any order but there is ONLY one way that builds correctly. If not in the correct positions you will either have a large gap at the rear doors at the roof or no center rib. It would be nice if Round2 somehow marked these panels. I taped my trailer completely together and marked everything before assembly. Would also like to see Round2 include one extra tire for the spare carrier.

I gave this a try and wasn't too trilled about this one. It did turn out better then I initially thought, but still not impressed by this kit. There are a lot of seams at the mid point because the trailer is two parts for all the sides, roof and floor. I had issues with the door hinges that frustrated me so much I just glued the doors shut. After filling the seams and getting it together and painted, which wasn't too hateful, it surprised me how well it turned out. I will say the tires are very stiff and a little persuasion is needed. All it all, I'll build an other on, but I do prefer others that are out there.

Good little box trailer for the money. Only issue I had were slightly warped doors which made fitting them together difficult. Otherwise, assembly was easy and the decals and wheel/tires were very nice. It would go well with any tractor cab. Have fun!

didn't realize there was so many parts with this model kit. But thats ok I'll manage lol no pro's or con's just hours of painting and building thanks Roy Phoenix

warped sides, Not impressed how the door hinges are applies. The tires do not stay on, i ended up glueing them on. I really dont care if it rolled or not.
