Fun kit to build
Fun kit to build. Model requires putty and sanding to hide seam lines, especially where wings connect to main hull. The surface panel lines and tiles are recessed, not raised, which is a great. I chose to glue the cargo doors shut since the interior details were so basic and not worth displaying. The decals are excellent. The orange is a good match to the original studio model. The decals conform nicely to surface details and are easy to work with. They include tiny markings to add more detail to the shuttle and boosters. Note: the window decals don’t match molded windows. Overall a fun kit to build that looks good with a bit of work.
