Good and bad
Where do I begin with this kit. There are good things and there are bad things, and I believe there are more bad things than good. Let’s start with the good things. They do give you an option to build it as stock instead of modified race car, but the bad thing is there or no directions to build it stock, you have to go online to get directions for this option. They also give you several options on your decals, and as usual for AMT The decals are awesome. You get two different motors in this kit, again no directions for the stock motor. The directions as a whole are poor and now that start with the bad things because there are several. The body was in good shape and looks very good when painted but the problem is when you try to put the body on with The interior bucket inside the body, nothing spits at all. The transmission hits the transmission tunnel, the dash might as well be removed because it’s in the way or cut down to almost nothing or to where you can’t see it I had to trim half of my transmission total out which got into the floor of my interior bucket so I just threw away my interior bucket and made it a shell sitting on top of the chassis. This disappointing me very much even though I didn’t spend a lot of time on the interior because it is not detailed very well. So I only give this one star it wouldn’t not recommend buying this, AMT does make better kits

I'm not finished with this one yet & have encountered many problems. The motor mounts fall short of the chassis brackets. I had to make the exhaust pipe longer to reach the muffler. They tell you to install rear springs & axle before the muffler which has a bad fit anyway. They say install tie rods on top of the front axle & the steering arm on the bottom. The radiator is to be installed backward. If I can complete this stock version the rest may turn out as beautiful as the engine. MORE OFF THAN ON
Worst directions
There are lots of parts, but the directions don't tell you were they go, you have to guess. The worst directions that I ever had on any model. Don't make my mistake, don't buy this model.

Good old kit. Vague/old style AMT instructions but stock parts are included in kit. Thanks for another oldie AMT.
