The kit includes crisply printed decals that include body emblems, gauges, black flames, and drag racing contingencies. The body is very nice and has minimal flash and good engraving, but there is no getting around that this is an old, dated kit. It suffers from a low parts count with highly simplified sub-assemblies and poor instructions. The included fuel injected 283 could be the worst small block Chevy engine in 1/25 scale. The chassis plate has molded in suspension, drive shaft, and exhaust details. The engine bay is also lacking in both detail and accuracy. Despite the low parts count, the interior shows remarkably well. The chrome plated sprue has some flash and includes chrome plated head and tail lights – ugh! There is no roof option. I’m not sure how the hood was intended to fit - I ended up building a hinge for it. In addition, the ends of the rear bumper are much too thick and should come to more of a point. Also, the grill/bumper assembly and tail lights fit with noticeable gaps.

I loved everything about this kit save for the chassis. Opted to kit bash a 1955 Corvette chassis into it and a different engine, turning it into a gasser. All in all, not to bad of a kit . For what it is, the price should be way less than it is.
