An excellent Craftsman curbside with unexpected detail!
This AMT Craftsman Plus 1965 Barracuda kit is a departure from the norm. It lends itself to a higher level of detailing due to the parts count sitting somewhere between a standard glue kit and a curbside. The chassis features separate front torsion bar suspension. The drive shaft, rear axel and leaf springs are a separate unit (somewhat simplified but not molded to the floor pan!) separate single exhaust with muffler, separate rear shocks. A firewall is supplied and the radiator bracing is molded between the front fenders. Molded open hood. Tub interior with many separate parts for front and back seats, center console, floor shift. gas and brake pedals, turn signal lever on the steering column. Both inside and outside rear view mirrors. Clear headlights, turn signals and taillights. Narrow whitewalls with narrow blues on the reverse. 2 different wheel options. Very nice decal sheet includes guages, badges, scripts, stripes, etc.
