A Big-Rig engine modelers have been waiting for a long time...WORTH IT!!
I had this engine YEARS ago when I bought the original GMC Astro 95 tractor (was an optional engine): Used it in a scratch-built motor-home, and wanted to have one again...it did NOT come in the re-issue kit!! Sure, turbines didn't pan out as The engine of the Future, but this powerplant has many uses today as a back-up generator in a diorama, a cool retro-build in a truck (-or CAR!!). You could even Sci-Fi this engine out into a wild flying or hover-vehicle component or even for powering a spacecraft...let your imagination fly free-that's why I bought TWO!!
