This has to be one of my new favorite motors for my smaller high altitude scratch builts. In a 29mm (strong) body tube rocket with a 24mm motor mount, this motor really hauls. The 8 second delay is generous to allow for a nice long coast to use up energy. I recommend that you paint your rocket a color that is easy to track as this motor is designed to send them high. The Blue Thunder propellant can be a little hard to track until the actual tracking smoke kicks in about a second or so after burnout but luckily it is continuous after that right up to ejection. This motor is kick butt from start to finish so I do not recommend this for rockets that use the standard Estes type thin wall body tubes and motor mounts. Build stronger and you will not be dissapointed as the energy to weight ratio for this motor is the highest in the industry according to Aerotech.

This is just about the most powerful motor you can get for a 24mm motor mount rocket. Be careful, you need a huge field to launch a rocket less than about 15 ounces. If you're brave enough to try to launch a smaller rocket with this engine, use a long streamer or small parachute so it doesn't drift to the next county. I've used it in an Estes Mean Machine and a LOC/Precision Photon, and both rockets worked great and went really high with this motor. It's great to push the limit on your E motor rockets.

Sure packs a punch. This little 24mm F class motor uses the Blue Thunder propellant and sure gets my Leviathan movin. I also use them in a pair on my L O C 4- 29SS with to LOC 29-24mm adapters. Its a good match.

Very nice motors sent my 600-gram rocket to 838 ft. Very reliable and powerful.
