Great on thrust, not so impressive on aesthetics.
This is a good motor for a first flight on a lightweight 29mm rocket like my Estes Argent. It gives a nice jump off the pad, but it keeps the rocket low enough (5-600 ft.) That even with cloud cover or wind, recovery is easy. The only bad thing about this motor, is that in such a small size the bright blue flame is nonexistent, and there is little smoke, so this motor lacks in the ooh, ahh category.
Big thrust in a 24mm reload
As advertised, the Blue Thunder propellant delivers on thrust. I launched the Aerotech Initiator on this motor and was not disappointed. It leaped off the pad quicker than the F24W motor, but didn't give the same bright flame. I got a bit more altitude with this motor as well (635ft). I like the sound and flame of White lightning, but this is still a great motor. I would buy again.
F39 24mm reload
Fantastic reload for the hobby line 24/40 case. Great punch and bright white smoke trail. this will sent your 24mm rockets higher than you ever thought possible. Highly recommended
