Changed rocketry for me!
When I first got back into rocketry I purchased the 24/40 case from HobbyLinc. Having only launched on Estes BP motors I was amazed at the difference that a good composite motor system makes. I've been able to launch much heavier rockets safely and to higher altitudes than I ever though possible with BP. At first I was anxious about the reloading process having heard stories of destroyed rockets due to improperly assembled motors but after the first flight all my concerns were laid to rest. The motors are easy and quick to assemble and I often reload the casing multiple times at club launches. Some rubber gloves and baby wipes help a lot when reloading at the range. The difficulty of cleaning cases seems to be a bit overstated by some. I've never used more than simple green and water and mine come out sparkling clean each time. (I've even run them through the dishwasher when the wife isn't home.) Every person who launches model rockets should be using these casings. Its cheaper in the long run and allows you to launch bigger rockets or get more height out of smaller ones. The best part is the better selection of motors and the ability to purchase reloads for some motors without having to pay the hazmat fee associated with prebuilts.
Send your Estes rocket into the Stratosphere!
Want your rocket to fly higher and faster than the designer intended? Want to save money at the same time? Want to get more involved in the prepping of your rocket so you can be even happier when your hard work pays off and you have a perfect flight?? Sure you do! Rocketry is all about adventure and learning- Doing something that might be a little difficult and doing it well. Get an F reload into this case, cram it up the tailpipe of that lightweight Estes D kit, and watch it really perform! Just make sure you at least have an idea of the correct delay- Obviously it should be longer than you would use with a D motor. If your rocket flies well on a D12-5, for instance, DON'T put an F24-4 in it. Work your way up from what you know... Ds, then Es, then Fs, and keep notes. And read and follow instructions exactly until you know what you're doing.
Solid piece of hardware
Small, but essentially a carbon copy of the larger versions of the RMS system. I now have two, and have had no failures in many many cycles. Only downside is need for cleaning. Use a good grease, clean them as soon as possible after using, and they should last a very long time. Many suggestions out there on cleaning, I prefer to soak a bit in white vinegar, then wipe down with paper towels and Q-tips. Baby wipes will do the job if you need to do a quick turn on the field.
Awesome product i love
Great starter re loadable engine kit. I have several flawless flights with this motor tube and have used it not only for personal use but also as a training tool for others in the 4-H rocketry program. I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship involved in the making of this motor system. PRO'S easy to reload easy to clean well written instructions. CON'S Lots of small parts involved so not for younger children
Good investment

Great motor case that can save you a few bucks on the F reloads in hazmat fees, and I love the E18 and E28 loads for this case. This is my primary E/F casing, with the 29 40-120 being almost exclusively used for G motors or maybe the F52 if I don't want a heavier model to go too high due to wind etc.
Great way to add power to those Estes kits
This set allows you to use F motors in those 24mm estes kits I've used it for three launches now, and it was very fun watching the small Estes kits scream off the pad on an F motor instead of a D or E.
RMS 24/40
Product is known and speaks for itself. The service is what is notable. It is excellent, on time, always a pleasure to do business.
I like reloading

Plan on reloading more motors in order to be able to fly more rockets for less. Should give me lots of options.
Nice Power Upgrade for standard D size rockets
Get the increased power and wow factor of reload composite motors over BP, on your existing D sized fleet.
delicate screw cutting
This is my first RMS motor case. I was surprised at the delicate screw cutting.
