Reviews : Atlas Barb's Bungalow Kit

This kit was very enjoyable to put together. It has very good detail both molded into the pieces and in the amount of pieces which must be put together. There were no flash lines on the pieces and everything went together with minimal sanding. The colors it is molded in don’t seem very realistic so painting is probably a must. I primed each piece before applying an acrylic topcoat which made painting a breeze. It would be good if you have a decent tweezer for the smaller details but this is not necessarily required. Take your time and it all goes together quite nicely.

I painted and built this kit in one day, it is very easy to follow the instructions and have fun too. There are no issues to get in the way of building this kit by a novice which means anyone can put it together. By adding just a few scenery items, one can really bring this up a great standard on any HO scale scene. I highly recommend this kit to anyone.
