Reviews : Bachmann Thoroughbred Set

I ordered this of of Amazon as my first, ho scale train set. I found this item adequate for a begginers set, of course this isn't something the pros would buy, it's awesome for kids too. Pros: • everything needed included • smooth operation • very improved operation compared to older bachmann • no problems after around 12 hours of use Cons: •small amount of track • ez mate couplers Before purchasing this you should know it only has two peices of strait track, I would purchase more alongside this product.

I would recommend this as a starter set for novice collectors or for kids. I definitely noticed how light the cars are in this set once I started adding single pieces to my collection. I'm also not a fan of the plastic wheels and axles. But I also don't regret buying this set just to get my collection started.

this is a good started set. have been modeling in n scale, my 1st. one in HO. I set up on a 4 by 6 plywood. I ran the set, works great. looking forward to my next delivery.keep up the good work.
