I used this product because I had a large area to cover on a new layout. I did learn that you get better results if you glue the mat to the plywood. If not, then you will have to deal with puckers. If I had to do it over I think I would go with the turf.
Yes, it will not shed grass and that is great, but this product will turn things green that I rub it across it, like your hands! Provided you want rubbing things on it, it's an OK product.
I ordered this grass mat for use with smaller projects. I love that it doesn't shed like other grasses I've used and is perfect for a base to your landscaping projects.
