I found this kit to be very poorly designed. It's called a snap kit no glue necessary but the ONLY pieces that snap together are the unfinished windows and doors (there are NO finished windows or doors). They snap into the walls very nicely. None of the walls will hold together without the use of glue which must be liberally applied. Due to the type of plastic used the pieces do NOT weld or melt together. I glued the inner chimney section to the chimney wall and clamped it lightly. After I removed the clamp the pieces fell apart. The inner chimney piece has two holes which I imagine are supposed to snap onto two tabs on the wall section. There are NO tabs. The rear section of the main roof has two holes onto which a section of planks are supposed to mount. The planks have no tabs. The standard model glue does not work well on this type of plastic. So far I have not figured out a way to glue the front and rear roof sections together unless I can get some very small alligator clips to hold them together. Also, I find it strange that there is no floor to this model. Who in the world constructs a house on bare dirt with no type of foundation or floor to start? Overall I would not recommend this model to anyone. You'd be better off making your own with balsa wood.

This kit reflects a house under construction showing framing, stairs to second floor, and the beginnings of the roof being added. There is a mix of completed windows and doors (same color as walls, I painted them), and windows and door openings without completed windows and doors.

This kit contains lots of nice detail pieces. Moratr box, Sand mound, bags of cement. I grew up with this kit in the 1:64 scale size on my dad's layout.
