Reviews : Bachmann Thomas- Mail Car

This item is a very accurate representation of mail van from the CGI series. I model in the classic series personally, but the CGI livery does not bother me at all, as it is very similar to the classic series. The mail symbols are beautifully applied on both sides. I ordered two of these at once, and though the body is secure, it rocks from side to side easily. This does not cause problems, just an interesting point. I plan to replace the disc style wheels with spoked wheels, as they are more accurate to the series. This item is a great addition to any layout. Thomas and Percy looks great while pulling a rake of them, as seen in the series.

This Sodor Mail Car is a must to compliment Bachmann Train's Thomas with Annie and Clarabel Ready-To-Run HO Scale train set. If your children and grand children are anything like mine, you know they want Thomas pulling as many cars as he can. Bachmann Trains makes several HO scale cars for Thomas--all of them with great attention to detail. Children will recognize the Sodor Mail Car they see in the Thomas stories and squeal with delight. This was the best Christmas gift ever! I highly recommend this product.
