These tankers are a very TV-series accurate representation of the Sodor Fuel tankers seen in the later classic series. Multiple tankers look great together as an industrial fuel train. These also work well as part of a mixed goods train or as part of a shunting yard setup, both seen in the series. I plan to paint the textured bands that run around it black for extra realism and accuracy. When you open the package up, however, make sure the wheel sets are snapped in before running them on your layout. I love this product! It adds a nice pop of color that contrasts very well with the muted colors of other rolling stock and compliments the vivid colors of the Sodor engines!

This Sodor Fuel Tank is a must to compliment Bachmann Train's Thomas with Annie and Clarabel Ready-To-Run HO Scale train set. If your children and grand children are anything like mine, you know they want Thomas pulling as many cars as he can. Bachmann Trains makes several HO scale cars for Thomas--all of them with great attention to detail. Children will recognize the Sodor Fuel Tanker they see in the Thomas stories and squeal with delight. This was the best Christmas gift ever I highly recommend this product.
