Reviews : Badger Black Primer 4oz

This a a great primer for models that adheres well to plastic, doesn't obscure details, yet fills in tiny scratches with ease. I like that there is no strong odor with this primer, as lacquer based ones are quite strong. I still always wear a respirator when spraying this any any paint, as you don't want to be breathing in any fine particles, acrylic or otherwise. It sprays great right from the bottle, without thinning, provided you use a .5mm airbrush nozzle. I use a Badger 105 Patriot airbrush, which comes with this size. If you do have a smaller needle I have thinned it a little bit with 70% Isopropyl Alcohol, which worked well.

I did a quick test after receiving this primer and found it covers very well with just a few light coats. It seems to stick better the AK Interactive's primer.

Excellent airbrush primer. No thinning required. Goes on super smooth retaining detail and drys fast.
