Experimenting can help
A good way to create your own decals. The instructions provided are very informative (see my photo for details). Since I only needed a small number of decals, I cut a 3.5 in by 5.0 in section from a sheet. My printer does not have a specific label setting, but my printer manual shows to use the plain paper setting. I was new to this product, so I experimented before using on a model. For me, I needed to wait for the initial print to thoroughly dry. The first coat of decal film applied needed to be very light. I personally applied two successive heavier coats. After experimenting with applying test decals to a plastic sheet, I felt good about making decals for a model and was pleased with the results.
Dissapointing Results
Very disappointed with these decal sheets because they would not set nor conform to an appropriately prepared model surface. I ended up having to buy decal film elsewhere, getting more sheets for much less and without any hassle in application or setting. I will say that these decal sheets took inkjet color very well. The prints were sharp and the color vibrant, unfortunately I cannot recommend these sheets.
