Gunmetal silver plastic
If you have experience lighting models this kit can be lit. Bandai did a good job leaving enough space for tiny leds & wires. This is a reative hobby, so be creative.
This model looks best painted in a brightsilver like aircraft aluminum.
Stickers are okay. I'm not using them. I plan to drill out, cut away, and flie the edges of all the windows. I've worked on 40k figs & equipment enough to know its doable.
Glad I could get some on sale as movie gifts to my friends. I work slow.
Great little kit!
As per usual Bandai - this kit was a great little build. No real fit issues (once the sprue gates were removed). Painting was simple, but the real fun is in the detail painting and weathering. My only modification was to paint the side markings on my own and not use the supplied stickers (no water slide decals are in the box either sadly). Used a satin clear over the whole thing to seal everything in. Would love to see Bandai do a 1/72 version to beat the other offerings out there!
