Looks good, paints up well
This item is made of resin or something like it, perhaps it is 3-D printed. It comes painted a steel color. It is too long for a 40' car but can be easily cut with a hacksaw, as recommended by the manufacturer. It is also a bit too wide so needs some sanding as well. Please wear a mask as the dust is bad news! I gave mine a black wash and dry brushed a bit of rust on top, with a final highlight with white. I used Tamiya powders that I've been experimenting with but it could just as easily be done with paint. The material takes washes really well, and it really improves the looks of the model.
