Challenging and rewarding experience.
Wonderful details. Beautiful and life like when completed. However, the plans are a bit vague and difficult at times to follow. There is a video on YouTube that is helpful but often time contradicts the plans that come with the kit. Nevertheless, I will be buying another for my layout as I understand the process after building one. Perhaps the most life like bridge available.
Central Valley 150' Pratt Truss Bridge
This is a great model to build and when finished really pops on a layout. I would highly recommend. Recently, I had the opportunity to meet with the owner of Central Valley Model, Jeff Parker,in Oceano, Ca. He showed me his workshop and the layout his late father and he had built.

Like the old time looks of this bridge and it is going together pretty good so far and it will look just right on my layout, Easy to understand instruction....If you like lots of parts then I recommend you give this bridge a shot....
Very authentic bridge
Great addition to my layout. Once glued together it is quit strong. Painted mine drab green with some rust streaks like so many I have seen over the years.

This bridge looks so much like the ones I grew up nexto to. The detail is extrodinary and unbelievable.
