A decent older Dragon kit.
PROS: The kit assembles quickly and easily, with the exception of a few finicky support rods for the front shield. CONS: the muzzle brake must be attached separately to the barrel. Two pin marks are present on the lower front shield, and the kit has many sink marks. Detail is definitely not up to Dragon's current standards, as many parts appear clunky. Some flash and poor mould alignment makes part cleanup tedious. Shield supports fit poorly, and the barrel is poorly detailed and doesn't align well with the carriage. OVERALL: This kit was originally released by Dragon in 2000, and the kit hasn't aged particularly well. It would still make a fine kit for a diorama or as a companion to a half track or other transport vehicle, but the kit won't stand on its own, especially compared to Dragon's recent offerings. It certainly isn't a bad kit, but there are a lot of improvements that would be needed to fully update the detail in this kit. It was fun to assemble, and it would probably make for a good practice kit for an inexperienced modeler. There aren't many small parts, and no photo etch is included. Recommended with reservations.
