Excellent Product for Every Layouts
The Details West Small Ground Box is a great addition to all layouts. These can be found at nearly every grade crossing, signal, or electrical cabinet, sometimes in combination with a large box. The package includes a pair or boxes finely cast in soft metal. Be sure to remove the leftover flashing. I prime these with a light spray of clear matte, then paint the body off white and the lids light grey. The chain can get a touch of dark brown before a final dusting of chalk to really bring out the fine details. These measure a scale 24 in. x 18 in.
