quality of balsa wood makes the plane unbuildable
I have built a number of dumas models of this type in the past, but it has been a few years. The quality of the balsa wood is so bad that even when I handled the model gently to glue on other parts, the basla stringers broke. I needed to do a lot of make shift repairs, but question if the frame will be sturdy enough when I apply the cover. I will not buy a dumas produce again. Guillows airplanes are not much better. Wish I knew another company that supplied better quality wood for their models.
