A great place to start
I've owned two Alpha starter kits since 1978. The Alpha starter set that I got for my 16th birthday lasted one flight, winding up deep in the woods behind the NKU tennis courts. 25 years later I treated myself to an Alpha III starter set, all pieces of which are still in use today. The Alpha III is an easy build and a stable flyer. I went with a vintage paint and decal scheme, but I'm going to have to buy another one to build it as intended.
