Great size and work well for most of your bigger C rockets. They hang up there...so downsize if windy. Works great in a Big Daddy if you are going up higher with a composite motor. wont drift too far. love the blue and white, especially on a calm day when that Big Bertha is leisurely floating down... easier than making your own...

If you're building a larger low-power rocket, or a rocket that might qualify as a mid-power rocket, then there's a decent chance you're gonna need this bigger parachute (as opposed to a 12 or 15 inch one). However, at this size, there will be plenty of aftermarket nylon options to consider, too.

I’ve used it on a 6 oz rocket that is about 45 inch tall and the parachute worked beautifully, as the rocket had a slow decent and touched down softly without getting scratched.

My rocket I built was in need of a good parachute, hobbylinc hooked me up with an 18 in chute pre assembled easy to use, another great product from hobbylinc.

Sometimes our chutes get burned/heated and stick together and rip when you pull them apart. Nice to keep the launches going with a spare chute

I have one of these parachutes for my olympus payloader rocket and it seems to work really good.
