I expected the fit to be better
This was a quick Christmas week project for me. I did my best to get everything lined up and cut correctly, but I was still left with significant gaps between the cardstock cut outs and the cut down body tube rings. It didn't help that neither of my rings were truly round on arrival. This was loaded and ready to fly last week when I visited B6-4 Field, but launcher issues cut the day short. Should be a perfect rocket to fly at my home field.
Simple and easy
This went together so simply and easily. The construction is card stock so there's no wood to snap and break. Just don't get the engine spacers stuck in the tubes, and note that the rocket is two pieces joined only by the engines. Looking forward to launching this one.
fun two stage
easy build and a fun two stage rocket. Low flying for easy recovery and watching the stage separation. Can also fly as single stage.
