A big Black Brant!
I have been building and flying rockets since about 1967 on and off but mostly on. I really like scale models so when I saw Estes release this large scale model I picked one up from Hobbylinc. It is a fairly difficult kit and especially if you use the built up fins which require a large amount of careful sanding to get the wedge shape. I contacted Boyce Aerospace, a 3D rocket printing company, and asked about him selling such fins. He was busy then but within about 2 months contacted me that he had done it and the first and second stage fins were ready! What a joy, they were great and fairly priced and made that part of my build hugely easier. I built per the instructions and painted per the actual rocket and it turned out great. It has yet to fly but I look forward to the day I do that, it is super impressive and big.
