a must have
i have a few different sizes of this sheet and i use it all the time. i have used it to build so many things like tool boxes, a 2 post hoist for 1/24 or 1/25 scale models, inner fenders on models a enclosed trailer and alot of other things. i cant go with out this anymore. the only thing i wish i knew before buying this is make sure you have a straight edge and new blades. also dont try to cut all the way through on your first pass make a few passes and it will make a better cut. if you need to bend it i found using a tea candle (those little candles that have the tin cup that its in) and heat it up slowly. i suggest trying some test pieces before you do something you put work in .
A must-have!

Truly a must-have for custom building! It's a more realistic thickness for 1/24 and 1/25 scale - won't look like you're using 2 armor plate steel for that extra bit of detail!
Easy enough to cut with some good scissors; inexpensive smaller ones from Walmart are great for this. With this thickness (and thinner stuff), it's easier to use scissors than a hobby knife, and easier to trim that fraction of a millimeter.
Guys, a word to the wise - ask the wife which scissors you can use - DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER PAIN OF THE DREADED COUCH, USE HER SEWING SCISSORS!!! Trust me on this ......
Styrene Sheets
Good product. Very useful in completing layout. Used under buildings and for roadways. Easy to paint and easy to cut to desired size. 6 x 12 sheets fit perfect under a large number of buildings on my train layout.
