This is a nicely constructed, hand-held pin vise with a wide assortment of drill bits. To help prevent breakage of the quite tiny/thin drill bits, I would suggest fully seating them down into the chuck, and utilize patient, gentle/delicate hand action in drilling befitting the delicate nature of the bits. This set is designed for some seriously tiny hole drilling, and if larger holes are desired, there are other pin vises available with sets of larger diameter drill bits. For the tiny/delicate stuff, this item is of nice quality, and I would recommend it to others desiring such level of work.

You may be asking why you should pay so much for such a small tool, particularly when cheap ones are available elsewhere? I’ll tell you why: Metal quality. Excel products are made in USA with higher quality steel meaning they last longer. This kind of tool is for when you need to make a very precise hole and can drill slowly. Not for high speed use

This small but very effective tool has quickly moved to the front of my tool box. Nicely made and handles easily. Works much better then any hand held drill that I have tried. Glad that I decided to add this to my desktop tool kit.

The lack of rotating bottom and the abrasive nature of the texturing make this hard to use. I would only recommend this pin vise if you're looking specifically for one that has four 'teeth' in the chuck.

Nice piece, very well made with a good selection of drills (once you find them). Found them the next day hidden in the handle of the tool. A recommended product without a doubt.

Well built and solid. I like all the bits that come with it. I didn't think I would use it much, but I use it all the time. Definitely a must have tool for model building.

This is a Neat little hand drill, perfect for making those tiny part holes just a bit bigger. Well made , and I love that all drills are in the handle .

I love love this little wonder. Not too big for your hands and it hols the bits in the handle.
