A must for rural scenes
This is the only Farmall tractor I could find anywhere. It was fairly easy to build. There was almost no slag to remove. My kit did not include the wire for the steering column, but I have plenty of that. The instructions were decent and it took only 30 minutes to assemble after painting. Acrylic paints covered easily in one coat. Hint: If you want to place a driver in the seat, do that before assembling the steering column and its support. You will need a figure that has its feet well apart as the steering column support will sit in between the feet. Woodland Scenics Hobos (A2138) has a man in suspenders with a brimmed hat sitting on a box that is perfect. His feet will actually rest on the brake and clutch pedals.
LOVE THIS LITTLE TRACTOR!!!
This is the second kit from this company that I've built and I love this one. The details are amazing and the instructions on this one were precise and easy to follow. Since it is N-scale the parts are tiny so assembly can be tough but as long as you can magnify your work you should be fine. The ONLY real issue I have with this kit is that you have to cut the steering column to length (5mm=too short) and the steering wheel is basically impossible to remove the flash from. CA glue works perfectly with this as long as the parts are not primed or painted. Be sure to keep the sections to be glued free of primer/paint and you will have no issues.
Nice detail addition
Very easy to assemble, paint, and weather. Purchased to add to an abandoned/neglected farm scene and will be a perfect addition.
Challenging Kit
This was a challenging kit to put together. Many small and detail pieces. A good kit if you like the challenge of assembling.
