I am all right with this model but the incorrect scale. I was under the impression that the Constitution was 1/400 scale according to scalemates website, then, on the instruction sheet it flat out says 1/600! I bought this model because I was looking for the 1/350 scale of it, and 400 was closest. Now, that's not all. The boat measures a mere 3 inches, not the 6 inches if it were 1/400 scale. And if the actual boat is 207-305 feet (according to USNavy), then what scale is it truly I have now? Not 400 nor 600.

I bought these on a Lark. I am a new modeler and wanted to use them for practice. They sure are small but look decent for the scale. I gave up on the rigging. If you want a fun couple of ships to fiddle with they will work well for you.

The 3-inch model corresponds to roughly 1:800–1:830 scale, meaning the advertised scale is inaccurate. The kit is essentially a mini display model rather than a precise scale model.
