This is definitely not chrome
My review score is based on the fact that they attempted to call this chrome, when it was nothing more than silver. And it's questionable if it's even good at being a silver. This is like McDonalds claiming it is a 4-star sit-down restaurant with waiters and a wine list! This is just not even close to chrome. Also, as you can see in my photo, the heavier application only made it look dull, not shinier, and according to Barbatos Rex, some silvers do respond well to extra thin applications with heavy passes at the end. This one obviously does not. Definitely use a gloss black undercoat or you'll get very little shine. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you would get a matte finish with a gray or white primer. This product could only be recommended if potential buyers planned on hand brushing, with no expectations of it being any better than Tamiya acrylic. If you plan on airbrushing, and anticipate a high gloss chrome effect, look elsewhere.
