Average Plastic Soldier
By: dpeterso
These tank riders come in 8 different poses. The poses seem a bit unnatural in how scrunched they are, and negative space is often filled with plastic. These won't stand up to any basic diorama quality. Instead, they are nice to pose on a tank but would be terrible in a diorama. The overall plastic is quite rubbery and doesn't sand well, nor does it cut easily. Much of the weapons blend into the torsos of the soldiers so it's hard to distinguish details. They are a cheap product, but you get what you pay for.
PERFECT

To add the realism to your tanks, having guys hitching a ride or riding in the battle is something that brings your tanks to life. This set includes 44 of those guys and 8 of them are drivers/commanders. I highly recommend this as well due to the detail. This is definitely a really must pick up.
US Tank Riders -- Plastic Model Military Figure Set -- 1/72 Scale

I recently purchased this product and although the plastic is oily, with a little soap and hot water that oily film is removed. What I liked about the product is the inclusion of tank commander figures. I was expecting just tank riding troops, so the tank commander figures was an added bonus.
Soft Plastic Takes Some Work, But Worth It
Yes, trying to trim away flash from plastic this soft is a bit frustrating, but once paint and definition are brought out on these, they actually show a lot of detail and look good.
poor quality

Very little detail. They aren't plastic. They are closer to rubber. Poor quality. You get what you pay for.
You have to work with these to make them come out looking good

Some problems with detail and painting but I will continue using these for my tanks and trucks
