A Salamander you won't mind having on your shelf!
Another of HB's easy assembly kits, it features low parts count, but with good detail and accuracy. Fuselage/wing assemblies have a unique breakdown: the front main fuselage is one piece, with the main wings and rear fuselage being a separate part. Includes a simplified cockpit with gun sight, and a clear 1-piece canopy. Two decal options are included: The German scheme on the box top, and a captured machine in Russian markings. A nice little plane at an affordable price!
Another home run from Hobby Boss
I have built several kits in the Hobby Boss Easy Build series and this one is one of the best for fit and quality of decals. The kit came together easily and with a great fit - no gaps or seams and everything fit snugly. The decals were thin without being flimsy. My only complaint is not specific to this kit - I wish Hobby Boss would provide a little detail such as an instrument panel for the cockpits of their easy build airplanes.
for the first timer
Like most hobby boss kits there are few parts but they fit well there is not much detal the plane can be made with the landing gear down or up as with most hobby boss kits it comes with decals for two planes one german and one soviet. Witch is differt the decals must be placed with some care for they will tear. But a good plane for the first timer.
