This is a great little kit of a classic plane. There are only a handful of parts. The parts fit is good but will need putty filler and some sanding. Assembly instructions are on the back of the box and painting guides are sparse but adequate. As mentioned in other reviews, weights added to the front of the plane will be needed for it to sit level on the gears. The kit is designed to be built with the gears down. To build for in flight display, the gear doors will need to be modified and glued in place. The decals really make this kit shine. There are enough to do either of two versions and a lot of decals either way. Applying the decals make good practice since there are a lot of them and many are thin and fragile. Micro Set helps with positioning but be careful not to get too sloppy with the solution since many are delicate. It's a great kit for any builder.

For the price, this kit has pretty decent detail. It will take some filing and sanding to get it to fit properly, however. And, you will need to add a LOT of weight to the nose to make it sit properly on the landing gear. There isn't much room so you will need to be creative. I used TONS of small lead shot crammed in and around the nose and intake but you could use Liquid Gravity for better results. There isn't much as far as cockpit details so I added some where they could be seen. The instructions don't give any ideas for placement of some decals and others aren't mentioned at all. You will need to look for research photos on the internet. When I finally got the placement correct, the decals went on well and snuggled down with decal set.

this hobby boss model like most of this line has few parts but fit well. There is not a lot of detail but for the first timer a good plane to start. the inst sheet is easy to read and color chart is good. It can be made with the landing gear up or down and decals for u.s. and so. af are good but care in placing them. A simple but good plane.

Great kit to develop you skills with. Assembly is easy and the plane goes together nicely. Mold lines are at a minimum and most of the parts fit together well. Where this model excels is in the decals. I found that the number of decals provided a lot of practice as compared to most other planes in their line.

As the model says it is a easy model the parts are easy to put together. There is decals for two airplanes the decals need to use with care they will tear. but for the first timer a good model to start with. I would recommend for the first timer to stay with hobby boss models.

The model itself is fine. A bit simplistic but good. The decals are awful. They broke trying to remove them from the paper. Literally disintegrated.

Very pleased by how nice this EZ assembly kit was. Just as nice as more advanced kits.
