Let price be your guide.

So Just got around to opening the Hobby Boss U-Boat kits, Well surprise, surprise ! one kit was missing the top half of said U-Boat and the other kit was missing the lower half. This by far is no fault of Hobbylinc, Both boxes were factory sealed. At the price I paid for them it's not even worth sending them back or getting a RGA. I will build one U-Boat and have spare parts, To bad it's building into a great little sub. But it will be a long time before I will even think about buying anything from Hobby Boss.
First model after 40 years.

I decided to get back to modeling after 40 years. My aging hands and eyes had a bit of a hard time, but the pieces fit well and everything went together good. This was a very easy model, exactly what I was looking for, I was happy with it. One minor concern is all their 'easy build' models are 4.2, while looking at their 1/350 models it seems these 1/700s should be from 3.75 to 4.3, so the length seems a bit off.
I cannot complain
Very small but appears to have all of the details needed. It has a bottom and top half so one has the option to make it a waterline display model or a full model with the display stand it includes too.
Decent
This model is decent. There is not much size to it. It is very tiny. It is a good addition to a 1/700 collection however. What you pay for is what you get with this model.
Very Good Kit

It is a small, one-day build. It is very well molded since everything is shown even at this scale. It even comes with a tiny torpedo.
